Who We Are
A Legacy of Strength, Community, and Empowerment
THE MPOWER STORY
Welcome to M-Power Gym & Academy, where hard work and dedication bring personal growth and transformation to life.
M-Power opened its doors in June 2017 as a 4,000-square-foot facility with the mission of providing a space where people of all ages and skill levels can unlock their potential and develop a healthy, happy lifestyle.
The gym is co-owned by Mike Baker, a nationally ranked powerlifter with a degree in Sports Science and the RPS Powerlifting Ohio State Chairman, and Will Ashcraft, a 7th Degree Senior Master black belt in Taekwondo and multiple WMAC World Medalist. Together with their team, Coach Baker and Coach Ashcraft have built M-Power Gym & Academy, where we focus on safe, smart, and specific training for everyone.

In 2018, the M-Power community expanded into a 12,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility. This includes a sports performance and strength & conditioning area, a traditional free weights, machines, and cardio room, as well as the M-Power Academy, which offers classes in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and Yoga
Although M-Power Gym & Academy is an impressive facility, M-Power is always about its people—also known as the M-Power Community—first.
Starting with our coaches, this sense of community flows directly to our members, who consistently encourage and uplift one another, whether it’s celebrating a personal record in lifting or achieving the next belt in a martial art.
We have a saying: “The hardest part is walking through the door.” After that, you’ll have a team of coaches and the entire M-Power community to guide and support you.
So, are you ready for your M-Power experience?
